The ambiance is relaxing, and I loved hearing OPM music playing in the background. It really gave the restaurant a cozy, homey Filipino feel. The Sisig Bites were definitely the highlight of our meal. They were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with smoky, savory, and slightly tangy flavors. I'd happily come back just for those! The Oxtail Kare-Kare was rich, creamy, and comforting. While I've had better kare-kare elsewhere, this one was still flavorful and satisfying. The Lechon Belly could have been a bit crispier, but the delicious sauce made it much more enjoyable. The service was outstanding. Our server was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and friendly throughout our visit. I forgot to get his name, but he truly made our dining experience even better. Overall, I really enjoyed our meal. While a couple of dishes didn't quite match the expectations I had, the warm atmosphere, excellent service, and especially the Sisig Bites made it a worthwhile visit. I'd definitely recommend Binondo to anyone looking for authentic Filipino food in NYC and would happily come back again.

Food 4.5/5 Drinks 3.75/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 4.5/5 Delicious Filipino food in Chinatown Every bite was packed with flavor and thoughtfully executed. The appetizers and mains were definitely the stars of the meal. The drinks, however, leaned a bit too sweet and tasted somewhat like artificial juice Sisig Bites – 5/5 Loved both the chicken and pork versions, though the pork had a bit more depth of flavor and was my favorite of the two. Sisig – 4.5/5 Super flavorful and satisfying. The texture was a little on the mushier side, but the taste more than made up for it Squid Ink Noodles – 4.75/5 Absolutely delicious. The tang from the lemon was the perfect addition and really brought the dish together. Oxtail Kare Kare – 4.75/5 The oxtail was incredibly tender and fell right off the bone. The rich, creamy sauce was delicious Lumpia Shanghai – 4.5/5 Very flavorful and meaty. I would have loved a little more crispiness on the exterior, but they were still excellent. Halo Halo – 3.75/5 The portion was huge! I can see why many people would love it, but it wasn't quite for me

We were here once when it first opened and liked the food - but didn't love it enough to write a review. GLAD WE CAME BACK a second time! Here's what we loved about Binondo this time around: PROS: Definitely come for an early Sunday dinner, where the place feels spacious and like you're dining in someone's home. Service is delightful. ORDER: Fried pork belly Kare Kare and Ox tail Kare Kare - delicious. Shrimp paste is on point. Pinakbet has authentic flavors. Halo Halo hits all the notes, and their Biko is dairy free and yummy! We'll definitely come back. Thank you to the entire team of Binondo for making our family dinner so special! Note: during our first visit, Binondo was relatively new, and they didn't have shrimp paste as part of their ingredients list because it was unexplainably banned from NYC restaurants (glad that rule has been changed!). From the time we first visited and now, the restaurant has definitely upped their game. Really glad we came back!

Had a wonderful birthday lunch at Binondo! The food was excellent, drinks were perfectly balanced, the atmosphere and service made us feel like we were at family’s house for dinner, and the staff even brought out a candle in our dessert and sang happy birthday to me. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back!

I loved everything about Binondo! Excellent service, great ambience, and one of the best Filipino comfort food in NYC! The lumpia was perfectly crispy outside but not at all dry on the inside. Very flavorful beef kaldereta and sinigang soup. And my fave would be the sisig - so tasty and with the perfect kick of spice. Absolutely delicious. I also loved the complimentary fried dried anchovies and peanuts. Definitely worth a visit when you are in Chinatown.💜 Will be back for sure.
